Chef Sophina Uong writes: “My culinary story embodies a rebel spirit of collaborative cooking tradition, innovation, refined finesse to demystify the heaviness of the Southern plate with detailed planning, personal service and eco-conscious sourcing.” Chef Uong is the ‘16 Food Network’s Chopped Grill Master Napa Champion, and four time champion of the San Francisco Lamb Jamb. Her many nation-wide accomplishments include participation in Cochon 555 as a BBQ Chef participant. Most recently she was the opening chef consultant for Andrew Zimmern’s Lucky Cricket in Minneapolis. Sophina brings much heart to her work a passionate supporter of the Girls Inc Taste Gala, and Make a Wish Foundation. She will share her wealth of talents at the Augusta Boucherie as our Team Veggie Captain. As she is currently living in New Orleans, LA, we are excited to experience her Deep South Vegetarian dishes!
